Checking account, my name only

My checking account is in my name only. My soon-to-be-ex husband is not listed on it at all. He claims that our credit union provided him with three years of my checking account records and that they are “marital property”. Is it legal for him to pull records from an account he has no ownership of?

This is something that you need to address directly with the bank. If he is not a signer/owner on the account then he should not have been provided the statements. This seems like at a minimum it violates banking privacy policies. That being said, any money you earn during the marriage is considered marital property, regardless of how the account is titled.
