When representing yourself, pro se, can a person be held accountable for fraud or deceit on the Court? When pro se, are the standards the same as being an attorney or officer of the court?
Pro se litigants are not held to a different standard than attorneys. If you represent yourself pro se, and you testify you will still be under oath and can face liability for perjury.
