60 days after complaint filed

If a defendant has requested the additional 30 days after receiving divorce complaint based on equitable distribution - what are the next steps. I understand they can request an additional 30 days from the court -but how long can this continue?

There is a minor list of items the defendant is requesting and plantiff agreed to 85% - what usually happens in this scenario? Does the divorce go into contestment? if said defendant agreed in separation to get items out of household by certain date - can they still fight for the right to get these items back in a contestment hearing especially if they have had plenty of opportunities to retrieve said items?

If the defendant requested an additional 30 days to respond to the Complaint the extension will be granted by the court.

If the response to the Complaint contains a claim for equitable distribution the court will deal with the property issues separately, however the divorce can still go through.
