Hi, I’m 8 mos pregnant in a verbally abusive home and want to leave. I’m not sure if that could potentially hurt me more when it comes to the custody battle or not. If I wait until after the baby is born, then I may end up waiting until after he finishes his maternity leave which could be 2-3 mos from now and I don’t know how much more I can take.
If you are in a bad situation you can and should move out, it will not hurt you in the custody battle as you will be ensuring your health during the final weeks of your pregnancy.
