If a child is turning 17, does that change custody laws or interference issues?
No the child is still a minor until age 18.
I’ve got the same issue. My two teens always ask their Mother if they can stay home on MY weekend. My ex is vindictive and does nothing to encourage them to want to see me. I understand that teens don’t really want to hang out with their parents but until they are 18, they are minors. She also speaks negatively of me and plays the little victim to win them over and making them NOT want to see me.
