If the alienation occurred in NC, you will be able to use the NC courts to file for alienation. You should contact an attorney who practices in the area in which the paramour resides.

I feel I have a very strong case for Alienation of Affection/Criminal Conversation, however I live in SC. The married woman that broke up my marriage resides in NC. She is currently separated, as her husband caught her with my husband. Even though I am a resident of SC, can I still pursue this in a NC court since she is a resident there?

Thanks for your help!
