What does sexual harassment have to do with Alienation of Affection?

My understanding is that the harasser caused trouble in the marriage and there was a period of separation. Isn’t that what the law is all about: keeping third parties from interfering with a marriage?

I believe you would have a hard time proving that your wife’s affections were “alienated” from you because of unwanted attention from a third party. Generally , in order for a person to suceed in turning your spouses affection against you, there must be some type of mutual relationship between them.

I would like to know whether the spouse of a sexual harassment victim could pursue that kind of claim, even though the spouses have reconciled.
