Attempted suicide and visitation rights

Greetings.

Can visitation rights, even supervised visitation rights, be withheld prior to a mediation date if either spouse has recently attempted suicide.?

We can’t answer questions about how a judge may approach issues in any given case. Whether a judge believes that withholding visitation is appropriate will depend on the facts and circumstances you can present at a hearing; if the judge believes that it is not in the child’s best interest to be around a parent the withholding may be justified.
