Child support based on custody

My wife and I are in the process of separating. She only wants me to have our daughter every other weekend but pay her 500 a month in child support. I want our daughter 50/50 and pay her less because she will have her less. What rights does a father have to children because it seems like she has all the power in this situation

The mother does not have more power and rights than the father. The mother’s rights are equal to the father’s rights. 50/50 custody is “the norm” unless there are facts and circumstances to justify a change from that.

Child support is based off of both parents’ monthly gross incomes as well as the custody schedule and the amount of overnights each parent has with the minor child/children in one calendar year.
