Child support in NC

I am a medically retired disabled veteran. I receive my va pension as well as my SSDI. My daughter receives $613 a month in benefits under me through my SSDI. The mother of our daughter says she wants to take me for child support she exclusively receives the $ for our daughter via a direct express card. Can I be ordered to pay child support if she already receives $613 a month?

It’s possible that you could still pay child support. The $613 that is received for the benefit of your daughter is included in your total monthly gross income on the child support worksheet. Once the child support worksheet is completed, the $613 is then deducted from your total child support obligation and you would only pay the difference, if any.
