How can I cancel a current order of support in Wake County. I am moving out of state and will be unable to go to court in person.
If you are no longer going to have custody of the child, you will need a new agreement/custody order to have custody outlined and existing child support terminated. If you are keeping custody of the child, you cannot terminate child support if you are receiving any government assistance on behalf of yourself or your child.
