Are co-parenting classes mandatory as part of the divorce in NC? I know they are in other states. If not, is it something that can be included as part of the process?
Co-parenting classes are not required by our child custody statutes. Parties can agree to go to co-parenting classes or you can request that the court include classes in part of the order.
