Dear onedad:

Greetings. Depending on your order, and the language in the same, you may be able to have a recourse by filing a Motion to Show Cause. However, your wife is correct that your child has no options in this case, as he does not get to make decisions about where he lives and goes - that is the option of the parents, or if they cannot agree, the court. Thank you.

My son, 11, has expressed a desire to spend more time at Dads house. He has told me that his mother has told him “he can’t live with Dad until your 18.” Do I have any legal recourse over such coaching, this is not the only instance.
