My Nephew from Belgium would like to come to Union County to live with us for one year and to do his senior year in high school.
I understand that I need to obtain custody in order for him to be able to attend school.
Do you have a sample “Consent order for Custody” that we could use for this?
What is the process to submit it and get it filed?
Are there other legal requirements for a foreign national to study at a public high school in Union County?

If the child is 18, our custody statutes would not cover him. You would be best served by contacting the school he would be attending to determine what they need in order for him to be able to attend.
