# Date other people while separation

I’ve decided to end my marriage and start to separate from my husband living in another residence.

My question is if It is legally OK to meet/date/sleep with another person while the 1 year term ends and get the final divorce?

It is best not to date and sleep with other people during the separation period. Even though you are separated, you are still married. Dating while separated could affect post-separation support, alimony, and even child custody.
