# End Alimony?

Yes. I do not suggest that you just stop paying though. Contact the attorney and have them set this up. It may have to go back before a judge and you may be due money back from her in the end. But if she has violated the terms of the agreement/order then you are entitled to terminate alimony.

We signed a “consent order” in court before the judge.

You alimony ends when she starts to cohabitate unless the order states otherwise. You should meet with an attorney and review the order before stopping the payments just to be on the safe side.

My alimony payments to my ex end if she cohabits, remarries, or dies. She recently bought a house with her boyfriend. The house is in both of their names. She has had this boyfriend since before our she divorced me. Is this enough to end the alimony.
