If my friend is receiving food stamps for her and her 2 kids ( 1 is not from her marriage) while the house is up for sale, and is now divorced but still has to attend ED, does the state take out the food stamp amount that she used from the sale of the house? If so, does that effect the X as well since he was only paying 1/3 of the support he was ordered to pay? How does that work?
Food stamps should not impact the sale of the house or the amount of child support she should receive.
