# House & ED

What happens with property and house after a year and a day when there has been no ED or anything done with the house that we both own? STBX currently resides in the house, I do not.

It will remain jointly owned, but you will lose your rights to equitable distribution and will have to file an action for partition to get paid for your share of the home.
