Dear The Mommy:

Greetings. He will likely have to pay you a monthly amount to help out with the debt until paid or until he can get a loan. Thank you.

Thank you, Janet.
Does the court have to order that?
Or, if, in mediation, he agrees to paying me a monthly amount, do we then present that to the court or something, to get it on file?

Dear The Mommy,

After the mediation if you agree the two of you will likely enter into a consent order. This will become a binding order of the court which you will be able to enforce.

My STBX served me with absolute divorce on 10/31.
I answered, with complaint for equitable dist. of DEBT ($78K, unsecured.)
When this finally gets through mediation, say he just doesn’t agree, and we end up before a judge with this …
How do they make him pay?
His credit stinks.
No one will finance him for anything.
He is working barely, but not enough to convince a lender to loan him $39K for 1/2 this debt I’ve been paying since he left.
What are HIS options? I need to know WHAT END he could be looking at, so I can plan accordingly.
Thanks[?]
