My attorney just prepared my separation agreement (second attempt) and I gave it to my husband. He is meeting with his attorney in the morning. My attorney said if he doesn’t sign it this time, we are going to file a lawsuit as he said there are several things we can file suit for. Can anyone tell me how long it takes in Cabarrus County to get a court date? If he signs it and agrees to the terms which are nothing other but equitable distribution how long does it take for spousal support and alimony to start as I am a dependent spouse and I also have health issues.
