why do the men always get screwed when it comes to divorce? Is the court ever for the men? I know a guy that raised his kids from the minute they were born while his wife went to school, studied and worked. He worked 40 hours a week, cleaned, cooked, paid the bills, took care of the children and done the grocery shopping. Even when she was home she was either in bed or setting on the couch watching TV. He did it all. Now they are getting a divorce because she was such lazy and a real pig and who do you think the courts will favor, him or her? She can’t even take care of the kids unless her mother stays with her all the while he takes total care of them by himself when he has them. What is wrong with this picture?
Custody is always determined by an examination of what is in the children’s best interests. If your friend has been the primary care giver, in all likelihood a court will determine that the children’s best interests will be met by placing the children with him the majority of the time.
