Incurred Medical Expenses

I am a divorced parent of an aged out child. By verbal agreement I agreed to pay for our child’s medical and dental insurance premiums under my policy. My former spouse paid the deductibles and uncovered expenses. Recently my daughter received dental service and incurred fees because the provider was not in the PPO plan. I was not pr-ivied to any of the transactions or included in the decision process, nor did I sign for the services provided. Can I be held responsible for the uncovered expenses based on the fact that I am the primary insurance holder? Thank for your time.

You’ll need to contact your insurance provider to see what their rules are regarding a dependent under the policy receiving unauthorized treatment.
