Manipulated into marraige

If you were married but never cohabitated how does the year waiting period work when filing for divorce in North Carolina? The person was manipulated into the marriage and never lived with the other party.

The one-year separation period would still apply.

The marriage could be annulled if either party on the date of marriage was incapable of understanding (incapable of contracting) that he/she was entering into a marriage, but this is likely different from manipulation.
