You are still married.
IF he was married to someone else at the time of your marriage then you can get an anullment. At this point it maybe simpler to file for absolute divorce then to go through the process of an anullment.

I’ve been seperated from my husband for the past 23 years, and I was wondering, am I still legally married? Also I was told by one of his family members, that he was married to someone else at the time that we were married, so does that mean that our marriage was never valid in the first place? Any information that you could give me about this matter, would be most appreciated.

Sincerely,
Shelly Trotter
