Is all money obtained during the marriage considered community money. there is no pre nup. been marriaged 13 yrs. can divorce proceeding begin if a spouse is deployed. Is a seperation agreement valid if it is not signed by both parties.

Not all money obtained during the marriage is martial property. For instance, an inheritance, a gift to one spouse from a third party, and certain amounts received from lawsuits, such as personal injury suits, are the separate property of the recipient.

A divorce proceeding can begin if one spouse is deployed.

A separation agreement is not valid and binding unless agreed to and signed by both parties before a Notary Public.
