Personally my daughter is 5 and we see some consistency issues with her…why not every other weekend and meet halfway. That is what we were ordered to do. He and I split the cost even though I moved 3 1/2 hours away. Its tough but I think it is more consistent for little ones. I hope that helps. Good luck to you!
My ex-husband gets my 2 1/2 yr old son every other weekend & Wednesdays for dinner. He’s moving 4 hrs away & wants to modify so he has him for a straight 6 days at a time. Is this too hard on my little one? He’s spent that much time with him before when I’ve been away on business & seemed fine. He loves his dad & likes to go there. Is it ok if we remain consistent (until he starts school of couse)?
