How hard is it to get phone records and how often are phone records used in a divorce case? Do you have to show proof of just cause or is just assuming enough? How far back do lawyers go to prove an affair was the possible cause of a divorce using phone records?

You obtain phone records through a subpoena. The level of difficulty and timeliness varies for every subpoena. The amount of time you would want to get records for will vary depending upon the facts of your case.
