You would file for divorce in the county where you live. Is there any reason that you cannot ask him for a forwarding address so that you can file for divorce?

My ex has the house up for sale and I’m worried what will happen if he moves out of the county. How does this work when filing for divorce if his address is unknown. Is there a way to find out where he is. We are not speaking and haven’t spoken in a long time. I know I’ll be the one who has to file for divorce. Also if he does move and neither of us lives in the same county where separation papers were filed where do you file for divorce. Thanks.
