Dear dirtdart1991:

Greetings. Did you sign a separation agreement which granted her the marital residence or was there a court order? Either way, you have a remedy.

Yes, if she and the children are living in Texas, she can refile there for an increase in child support. Best of luck.

Dear dirtdart1991:

Greetings. You may want to file a Motion to Show Cause against her for not following the court order to pay for the marital residence. Best of luck.

I got divorced in 2001. the ex-wife got the house in the divorce. Since then she moved to Texas and foreclosed on the house. I gave her a quick claim deed on the house. Is she still responsible for the house? The house was in both out names and I used my VA loan. Also, can she refile any paperwork in texas if we got divorced in north carolina to up her child support? I am currently paying $800 in child support for both children and $200 for alimony for five years.
