Referral for Collaborative Lawyer

#1

Dear no6cgc:

Greetings. I am sorry, but I do not know of any attorneys in the Greenville, NC area that are currently practicing collaborative law. It is rather expensive to get trained in collaborative law, so I would look at the larger firms for someone that is collaborative.

Also, you would possibly only have 3 or 4 meetings before resolution. I mention this in case you are willing to travel 3 or 4 times to Raleigh. Thank you.

The response posted above is based upon the limited factual information made available and is not intended as a full and complete response to the question. The only reliable manner to obtain complete and adequate legal advice is to consult with an attorney, fully explain your situation, and allow the attorney sufficient opportunity to research the applicable law and facts required to render an accurate opinion. The basic information provided above is intended as a public service but a full discussion with an attorney should be undertaken before taking any action.

I found the November 23 article in the News & Observer very informative and would like to go that route.

Raleigh is too far for us to travel. Can you recommend lawyers or law firms East of Raleigh that are trained in collaborative law? Preferably in the Greenville, NC area.

Thank you.
