Seperation Agreement/Property Settlement

#1

Is there a time limit on a Seperation Agreement before it becomes NULL and void? And if so, what about the property settlement? Someone had mentioned that a Separation Agreement was only good for 7 years…Just wanting to make sure. I am in no hurry to get my divorce, but need to make sure if I don’t I am still covered with SA and PS.

No, it remains in effect and is enforceable as between the parties for at least 10 years if under seal.

So after the 10 years what?

It is still binding as between the parties and can be enforced, if suit is filed for breach or non-performance.
