# Sleeping Arrangements

The statute says the following about the year separation period for divorce: "Isolated incidents of sexual intercourse between the parties shall not toll the statutory period required for divorce predicated on separation of one year. " NCGS 50-6

After two years of separation, if a not yet divorced couple “sleeps together”, does the year waiting period have to begin again?
