A little background: My STBX and I separated. She filed a divorce from bed and board and she stayed in the marital home. She eventually could no longer afford to pay for the home and moved out before our ED trial. The mortgage was 3 months behind. I was given back the house and am now paying her monthly for her half of the equity in the home. In the ED it reads that I would satisfy any and all debts with the home including the delinquency.
Because I signed that I would satisfy the delinquent amounts, does this mean that I cannot sue her for the 3 months that she was living in the home and did not pay the mortgage?
