Support Calculator/Child from prior marriage

When using the support calculator for shared custody and inputting children from prior marriage, can I include my 18 year old that lives with me and will hopefully be going to college in the fall? I provide almost 100% of his support. He has a small job and of course I no longer get support from his father. Or is it cut and dried; he’s 18 and not a minor and I can’t use him in my calculations?
Thanks.

If he is 18 years old and has graduated from high school, you cannot include him as another minor that you support for purposes of the calculator. While most parents do take care of their children after age 18, you are under no legal obligation to do so, so you cannot use your support of adult children to minimize your legal obligation to your minor children.
