Unless your court order prevents you from traveling out of the state, then you should not have a problem. I doubt a court would issue an order preventing you from taking your kids on vacation.

I am planning on taking my kids on a cruise to the Bahamas. I have sole custody of both them. My Question is, if I take them out of the state is there anything the ex could do to me legally? I have not spoke to him of these plans. There is always an argument when I try to discuss it with him however there is not a travel clause at all in the custody papers. I also reside in another part of the state than he does, should there be something he could do, would he need to come here to persue it? [?]
