What breaks a separation agreement

Could someone advise me on what would break a separation agreement? I know mutual agreement on destroying the document itself would, moving back into the home (how long would you have to be in the home for the separation agreement to be considered null and void) Does the act of sexual intercourse break the agreement if the couple are not living together? thanks…

A reconciliation may rescind a separation agreement, depending on what language is contained in the agreement with respect to the effect of a reconciliation. One act of sexual intercourse does not necessarily constitute a reconciliation, it is the intent of the parties that matters. If you resume your martial relationship and begin living together again as husband and wife, you would be deemed to have reconciled.
