If there is no equity in the house you do not need to buy her out, there is no money to give her.

I’m curious about how we would have to handle splitting our home. We owe more than the house is worth due to needed repairs. Would we have to sell our home to split the money? I want to continue living in the house, I make the entire house payment. And I hope that I will be able to keep custody of our children. Would I have to “buy” her out…even if we dont have equity??
