# Which county

I am confused over which county to file for divorce in.  
We lived together in our family home in one county and before our 1 year is up, we will each have moved to different counties.

What are the regulations. ?

You should file for [divorce](http://www.rosen.com/divorce-nc/) in the county in which you live or in the county where your spouse lives.
