Alienation of affection?!

Me and my wife have been married for a little over 1 month now and she ended up going into a mental institution where her mother took her out a day earlier than she was supposed to she has been lying about certain situations with my wife she has also told me that I am not allowed to see my wife I’m not looking for a divorce I’m just looking for the best course of action

Perhaps giving your wife a little bit of time and space will help ease the tension and the situation.

For an alienation of affection claim, you must prove the following:

  1. You and your wife were happily married and a genuine love and affection existed between you;
  2. That love and affection was alienated and destroyed; and
  3. The wrongful and malicious acts of the third party caused the alienation of affection

You would likely have a difficult time proving each of these elements for a one-month marriage.
