Can alimony be filed when we have been continued in our ED claim for the second time??
We have been continued for another 7 months in our ED claim to be determined in court- I will have been separated for 19 months by that time and would like to have alimony done and over. My spouse will not go to arbitration, we have tried mediation and that broke down because of his false claims. How is it that I have to continue to live without alimony until the ED is ruled upon 7 months or longer from now??
You may have the court determine alimony prior to Ed, but it will have to be reevaluted at the time of the ED hearing.
