Ok, so I know your alimony calculator is designed to only give an IDEA of what is possible… but the range of results are very widespread. If you had to pick one that is MOST SIMILAR to North Carolina, which one would it be? And/or is the resulting average a good indicator of what you could expect to receive from a judge?
In my opinion, there isn’t an alimony calculator that is similar to the results you would receive in North Carolina because we don’t use a calculator, so you are never guaranteed similar results in NC. A good place to start is by doing a needs v. ability to pay analysis.
