Bankruptcy effects

If my chapter 7 bankruptcy was over in Sept of 2009 and my ex lost money on personal notes, between us, and those amounts were dismissed in the chapter 7, can he bring up those issues to try and reduce my alimony. The notes statues of limitations have also run out .

In order to modify alimony there must be a substantial change in circumstances, affecting his ability to pay, or your reasonable needs. In this case, if he has had debts discharged, that should increase the amount of money he has available each month, and therefore should not be a reason to reduce alimony.
