Bigamy

Dear littletexas:

YES!!! You must divorce before you remarry. You will have no excuse to the crime of bigamy. We have the divorce forms on line and you can file them yourself. Best of luck…and please go and file.

I have been seperated from my husband who lives in Texas for over 10 years. We had a child that is now 17. We never felt it nessassary to get divorce due to the fact that all is good between us as far as raising our daughter, childsupport, ect. After being seperated for so long would it be concidered bigamy if either of us remarried at this point?
