The only reliable manner to obtain complete and adequate legal advice is to consult with an attorney, fully explain your situation, and allow the attorney sufficient opportunity to research the applicable law and facts required to render an accurate opinion. Hello,
I have just found out that my son is married. He is of age. I also found out that the girl he married is still legally married. I also believe he was aware of that. In NC proof of a divorce is obviously not required when applying for a marriage license.
In a case like this, are both parties breaking the law? I want to end this thing before it gets out of control.
