Child support and stay at home moms

How is child support calculated in a situation where the mother provides the child care while the father works? I have two children ages 3 and 7 who stay overnight with me for 299 nights per year. I have a part time job making $3000/year. I left my career 7 years ago when our first child was born. I have worked part time for 4 years earning between $3000 and $7500/year. In order to earn more I have to be available more hours, but due to the cost of child care it hasn’t been cost effective. Thank you.

The day-care expenses you pay for the time you are at work are factored in to the calculation. There is a chid support calculator on this site you may use to estimate support.
