When does child support stop? I will always be there to support my children, get them through college and beyond, but just wondering if it ends officially at 18 or when they finish High School or some other time.
No, it does not usually terminate on its own. It depends on what your order says, but you may need to make a motion to terminate support. You would be able to file after the child is 18 and graduated from high school. You are required to pay support for all months the order is in effect, unless and until the court terminates support based on your motion.
