Contempt Punishments

My question is this……How does a judge go about issuing punishment when a party in a joint custody case is found guilty of multiple contempts? The father in my case has more than ten clear cut contempts.

It will depend on whether the contempt is civil contempt or criminal contempt but the punishments can be anything from a stern talking to from the judge to a fine or jail time.

It will also depend on how egregious the violations were and will depend on the particular judge hearing the contempt/show cause motion.
