I have temporary orders as of November 2008, so I assume they may be considered permanent now. They cover both visitation and support. My ex filed in July to have permanent orders in place.
We were going to settle, so we were taken off the court calendar, but now are back on awaiting a November court date.

If we settle the custody before then, will I still have the court date to hash out support?

Would I be able to get back support from July (when he originally filed) to the present if it is increased?

If you settle custody prior to your court date you will still have to appear if your court date is for child support and that issue remains unresolved.

You may be entitled to back child support if, in your answer and counterclaim, you made a claim for back child support.
