Hello there is my situation. Currently separated we are working on the property division. We did a disclosure and I gave all my information. She did her disclosure and did not include assets that she has in her name that from her family; some of which were purchased after we got married. I also contributeed to both financially and managed them asset for 10 years. So how do I get a equitible distribution with her not disclosing foreign assets and the majority of assets here in NC are in my name? Thoughts?
If she is not cooperating by providing the disclosures you have asked for, your best option is to file a complaint for equitable distribution. If during discovery she still refuses to disclose those assets the judge can compel her to do so upon the appropriate motion.
