Going through a divorce here. My wife and I filed paperwork ourselves with court (notorized.) Paper work (property settlement) stated that if I was able to obtain a loan (which i have) she would sign the home over to me. I will also be giving her a small amount of cash. If she signs the home over to me…removes her name from deed…can she still say later beore the divorce is final say that she wants half of the equity in the home and make me sale if I cannot pay her this amount she is asking for?? Does my name on the deed alone give me any sayin the matter?
Thank you
